Its just one of many Data grabs out there. They will "help" you out, but in the process sell aggregated data to other folks to market products /create services to you as well.
Follow the money. Lots of Google $$ in there,....... among others. Same reason Monsanto own Fieldview, and Pioneer just bought Granular, ect. ect.
