Isx's are known for their liners not being shimmed high enough. When the liner setteles a bit your head gasket blows
My mechanic sees it all the time and saw it with mine also. Egr coolers are expensive and very common failures. Turbos are expensive and very common failures. Our series 60 Detroit was way more reliable. Trucks with those motors are getting hard to find. Good luck.


Is your 60 series a 12.7 or the 14?
