We just bought a 40' single drive. Talked to MacDon about the single knife because I was worried about it. They said it will be just fine. He said on rare occasions when guys are cutting tough beans and they go directly into a row it may stall due to trying to cut the whole 40' at once. They said cut at an angle and will never have a problem.
