Coincidence? Most of the time it is the brake pedals getting hung up. Have someone hold the pedals down and clean the dirt from under the levers on the outside. Between the lever and the brake valve. You will have to use a screwdriver to dig the dirt out.

Make sure the cables are adjusted properly first. F-N-R cable is to make sure it has both forward and reverse. Clutch cable, you hold the pedal down with your hand and another person turn the cable until it just lifts off the floor, turn one more turn and lock it.
