South central kansas | I think it is not comparing apples to apples, their methodology was to look at cash prices before and after the report as well as one week later and there dataset was a lot bigger covering in some cases 30 years.
While yours was futures prices only and a very narrow time frame on report day with a very limited data set.
If you want to compare apples to oranges to disparage the USDA and find fault with what I posted that is fine.
They set out the parameters for all to see how they arrived at the document I posted.
As I posted earlier I posted the document was food for thought, neither defending or lambasting USDA, because whether you like it or not, until they make changes or not you and I are going to have to live with the reports.
