....and each "thrust" has been smaller. Ever gotten your truck stuck and every time you rock the truck by gunning the engine and shifting the tranny from F to R....and you can tell by how much each "thrust" is as to whether you are making headway or digging yourself deeper?
And it will end up like the tranny in my pickup, a smoking pile of junk.
