KS and NE in eastern 3rd
If I applied this theory to my own farm it makes no sense to me. I have sand pockets on a farm that make up 5% of the field. Depending on the year that area can grow anywhere from 0 to 170 bu. Now on my good dirt I can grow 160 to 200 bu corn depending on the year. I can tell you that the field average is effected a lot when the monitor is saying 0 in just a few places.
