SW Ontario | We're waiting for a breakthrough/invention in this area. It won't be lithium batteries. It looks like cold fusion and hydrogen fuel aren't progressing either. The internal combustion engine has had a great run but should have viable alternatives/competition by now. People like Elon Musk are more hype than substance. We're waiting for the next REAL Einstein to come along. I'll happily drive my 6 cylinder 3.0 litre fuel efficient mini-van until that time comes. Maybe it's just higher fuel prices that need to bring technologies like hydrogen fuel or cold fusion along. I don't think more batteries in cars is where things are headed. | |
