Yes take coupler off then drum. Seal on output shaft on trans is leaking. The shoes will b oil soaked and should be replaced. Same thing happened to our 9670 last year. We tried to clean shoe with brake kleen and reuse but didn't work. Took forever to get new shoes. Deere claimed nobody ever wore a set out. Which ours were fine but oil soaked and didn't hold.
