| Actually you can create ice at room temperature, you just need to put water into a vacuum chamber and as you pull vacuum on the water it will first boil at room temperature, then the water will loose enough energy boiling that it will turn to ice.
This is usually referred to as the triple point of water in a vacuum system where you have liquid, ice and water vapor all at the same time.
Not something that you will encounter on a pivot though.
