Maps are pretty much dry as a bone into mid September and maybe further out

Hot next few days. Then cold. Then hot coming back

The heat will be welcome but if you are behind on moisture it's going to be rough

Just don't see this crop finishing worth a crap

My beans look average at best and they have only stressed for water maybe 4 days this entire season. I have soft damp soil clear to the top in my fields right now and will not come close to last year. I'm hoping to get within 10 bu of last year on beans and within 20 on corn. Corn might do it. Beans probably won't.

I am going to have a decent crop but it won't touch last year and you don't have to go real far to find below average stuff.

Bonus. SDS is starting to really show its presence now. Even on drained soil with good varieties
