I agree with you but with a full moon and a cold front pushing through this week and if nothing happens our next chance for a frost may be 3 weeks away. By then pretty sure the market will believe the crop is made. Wet but made. No rain is not helping us though. We are seeing choppers rolling here on shallow dirt. Labor day is the usual start for good silage here. Good silage is still 2 weeks from chopping. That is roughly 2 weeks behind. If no rain I feel that 2 weeks could advance more quickly than we would like. Cool weather or not.
