Subject: RE: Why no short covering?

NE North Dakota
Why is nat so emotional this year? Don't recall this much negativity. To me this says a lot of guys won't bushel there way into profit this year. We all require 50 cent improvement in the corn market to switch to a black pen. We will personally be 20-30 less in corn and 7.5-12 less in beans. This is "if" it finishes. Long ways to go with cold august. We will not produce the bushels to turn the pen black.

This and the fact the market completely discredits any farmer opinion No one was this emotional last year at this time? Short crop. Just an opinion/observation please pick away

What irritates me the most is not a single farmer or analyst buys the 169.5 usda number so they were questioned about it and they turn the blame to the farmer. (21000 polled) im trying to teach my children to take responsibility for their actions but than I look at a supposedly respected government agency not take responsibility for the numbers
