| Since we normally plant whole fields using two different varities in the planter after harvesting the ends, edges of fields & any pointrows we run the rest of the field as a side by side. Doesn't really take that much flip flopping on the yield monitor. If picking in lands we can run 32 runs of 1 variety, then switxh the ym & run 32 rows of the other.
We have found that the hybrid that does the best in one pass thru the field may not necessarily be the best clear across the field. | |
