Land cost is just one of the many inputs there dude. I laugh at guys that bitch and bitch and bitch about their rent and hire coop to do all their spraying and fertilizing, drying, corn hauling. Dirt work hired done, poor marketing, no shopping for inputs etc, but they would have been successful that year if they gave their 80 yr old land lords $20,000 less rent that the land lord needs for living.

As far as buying land, prices are what they are. Complaining about them is just gonna get you that much further behind your neighbors.



Totally agree. Bitching about land prices is akin to bitching about the cost of anything else. It is what the market says it is. If ownership was easy everyone would do it. That goes for land and machinery.
