And they let's use $0.80, $1.75, and $3.50 cash corn price. And use 80, 130, and 220 and $400, $3,000, and $8,000. This is good soil after all.

1968 - 6.25 Acre/Bu/$
1981 - 13.19 Acre/Bu/$
2017 - 10.39 Acre/Bu/$


Ground in my area went for $300 in the late 60's, I would not doubt it fetched more than $400 up there, but we'll use it. There was a period in the early 90's where you could cash flow land purchases; maybe the late 60's was the same. I think those times are rare. Appears we are not as bad as the 80's either, not to even bring up interest rates.
