That post just literally blew my mind, "it's only a million." No offense to the man just shows how perceptions are different.
A million these days is a lot if you don't have it but does not go very far.
1.5 acre bare lot at the local lake asking price $250,000.
New combine with heads $500,000.
New choper with heads $600,000.
New semi $120,000.
So in the grand scheme of things is $1,000,000 for a quarter of land really a lot?
Grandpa's old tractors are not worth much but his land is. Land does not rust away into nothing.
