If I remember correctly you said the Kansas corn crop wasn't there last year too. Wait and see, Kansas corn will be as good or better than last year. I was in Pittsburg today, and the corn all the way down there looks really good to me. John Burns could probably fill us in if he sees this. You also need to remember there are a lot more dryland acres in western Kansas than there used to be and there is some crazy good corn out there for them, way above average. As far as the early corn, the late corn is a lot better than the early corn this year. That is unusual for Kansas, but the cool August and rains were unusual. Fortunately is was real wet here and we didn't get much planted early only 300 acres out of 2800, the rest was planted from May 14 to 19, a lot of other guys were in the same boat.
