| kansas is not having that good of a year, yes their is some good corn along I 70 and in the southwest that has pivots. Some dryland too down in that area, but northeast kansas has suffered hard this year their is alot of corn up here that is getting chopped that is well below 150-180aph's where it has been the last 4 years. I know a couple farmers that chop some corn usually that have put every acre in the silage piles besides bottom ground and we are talking 15 to 40 bushel crop insurance adjusted already. We will be picking corn soon. Usually doesn't happen to mid september and some have already started in western brown county in areas. I have heard corn in southeast kansas is very hit and miss depending on location. | |
