Wait till his lenders put their name on every check that the farm brings in and he has to get them to sign them for them to be good just to buy some family needs. You may want to hold grain till it is profitable for you but your lender may have other plans. There were a lot of games played in the 80's by lenders that guys had no control over. If this thing does not change for a couple years there are going to be a lot of young guys who are going to be the next generation that will get to talk about it in 30 years. Remember how us old guys that lived thru the 80's tried to tell you younger guys what was going to happen and we got blasted for it. Saying it would never happen again. | |
