| Yeh I remember the meltdown off two to three years ago. Probably the worst years in feeding cattle I can remember. From record profits to record losses in 1 year. The worst thing usually is the case when corn is cheap. Price off cattle are cheap. People feed cattle way to long an then end up with over done cattle an then give them away because you are discounted on heavy carcasses. Recipe for disaster. Now with the nice weather cattle are gaining exceptionally well. We had record number off cattle on feed a couple months ago. Those cattle will be coming to market in time. I just hope people sell in an orderly fasion. We dont need any more meltdowns. | |
