| Bankers are under some pressure to get a more accurate picture these days. There is plenty of "we're not in trouble yet" talk which means (to me), without some fast moves creditor come and get their stuff.
Many of us have noticed the media overall kind of calls the story as they want to see it or what they think will sell advertising (it's a for profit business that we confuse for a information delivery service). It can be debated, but I hear way too many reports that things are all good in the face of situations just like wolf story. Of course it's not a surprise since advertisers don't sell near as much if there is a lot of negatives being reported. | |
