Southern Wisconsin | Local corn elevator is offering this. I deliver 5000 bushel now. They will give me 25 cents / bushel over there sept spot price paid now. The corn elevator sells two may 4.20 corn calls. On the day these calls expire which would be april 19 if May corn closes below 4.20 case close nothing happens. If on April 19 may corn closes above 4.20 I am obligated to deliver 10000 bushel of corn at 4.00 a bushel. Am I missing something, doesn't sound like a bad deal. Is this to good to be true? this is in southern wisconsin
