Central IL | Perhaps being in situation a call/put strategy would be lower risk. If your selling your grain for a loss than it's costing you too much to produce it, so reowning grain on the board and adding risk to an already bad situation could make things worse. Not saying the ability to make money is different, but perhaps his energy and resources are best put in other areas of the operation than trying to set up a hedge line and hedge grain. | |
