Se wisc. | You know I really have been thinking about this a lot. We need young ambitious farmers to take the reigns. How to get going and get some land bought is a struggle to say the least. I would like to try a 50/50 share crop lease just to see how it works out but these are very hard to negotiate. Land owners want no risk even though they own farmland that has a lot of risk surrounding the arena of production agriculture. There are a lot of pluses for share cropping especially for risk averting farmers. I.e. The young and the about to retire. Anyone have success with a fifty fifty lease? | |
