I think I'm at $600-700 for the tax accountant like mentioned above. Actually that comes to a lot per acre for a small farm; but it's not bookkeeping, it's tax prep.
I'm kinda old school at the bookkeeping, closer to the shoebox method on my small simple operation. Cost is whatever time I spend on it, I have never figured out how to value my time.
