Check the bolts at the bottom of the mast that hold the mast bearing assembly together. They are at the very bottom of the mast and screw into the end of the mast. These bolts got loose on mine and I adjusted the wear pads, the hitch height, etc. before I finally checked those 3 bolts. Tightened them and solved the issue.
