E.Central MN | A few years ago we called our farm mutual insurance guy to make sure we had a new building on our policy. The first question he asked was what brand building? When we said Morton, he said good, we'll get a lower rate on insurance because they were the only company that came out and repaired their buildings after a wind storm hit some farms about 15 miles west of us. We compared prices from several good companies, by the time we got done comparing apples to apples there really wasn't much difference in price. You can save a lot of money by using cheaper components, no doubt about that. With building materials you usually get what you pay for. | |
