When, I replaced the wing hinge pins, I simply went to a machine shop and had them cut the shaft to the correct length. I also didn't drill holes in it to hold in from sliding out or rotating. I did bolt a tab to an existing bolt on the front and back of frame to prevent the pin from coming out IIRC. And like I said, I drilled and installed more grease zerks on the planter frame where there wasn't any.
