If this is a 40' machine with interplant, and you run with the front in the raised position, it puts a bit of a twisting action on the outer portion of the wings. It does this because of the weight that is supported in the air that is out in front of the ground tires. This in turn wears the wing hinges unevenly as the leverage of the front half pulls down. I have replaced the wing hinge shafts and added a few more grease zerks. That seemed to help for awhile.
