Also, I've always heard that 500 bushels (or so) is about the max you can haul on a wagon before having to worry about axle weights. 550 on that wagon may be just fine, but it wouldn't have to be stuffed if there there was the possibility of having weights checked. The OP could have axle weights of his wagons checked pulling them with a tractor.
I wouldn't pretend to know about axle weights on trucks, but OP surely knows there are regulations about those. |
