SC Wisconsin | The reason being for not getting a full 5x6 baler is that my skid loader isn't real big, so even if I only make bales 4' in diameter I don't know if I could pick them up. I had to get a little creative loading some 4'x4.5' sudangrass bales last year when it wouldn't dry down with rain on the way, baled them over 70% moisture and they were HEAVY! I feed it in bale rings too so they wasted a lot one year when I had a guy bale it that did not have a cutter in his baler. I definitely prefer the silage special for this reason.
As far as the net being in the back, I guess you could call me a control freak as I like to be able to see what is going on with everything all the time, so it would drive me nuts not being able to watch it . Call me crazy, it's just a personal preference of mine. | |
