NEMO | I'll give you an answer you don't want, so take it for what it's worth. You don't have to have a silage special baler, can't even start to imagine all the baleage baled here with plain 567-569 Deeres, no problems ever. That way you have the full size baler, we just step the diameter down to 54 give or take. We've baled everything under the sun from grass to sudan, no problems. Personally, I'd stick with a Deere or Vermeer,they will come nearer to holding there value long term. Wrap on the back sure is convenient, not sure I understand your point. As to the rake, we are in agreement. I studied the Kuhn's before I bought. We were traveling, and I saw a guy raking with a 300 series Kuhn. Stopped and talked to him, he said it was the best rake he'd ever had, and it sounded like he traded a lot. I have one and am very happy | |
