Had 6499 beside p1479 a couple years ago, p beat it by 12-15 bushels. 1197 would have beat the 1479 I'm pretty sure. Ears always look small like they are going to suck but kernels get so deep it beats everything. Past 3 years that's been my experience anyways. This may be the year it turns though as we have been very dry from tassel to r4 so far. May not get the fill it needs.
