Subject: RE: Deutz Engine in a Bobcat Questions

Washington Co Ks
I don't know about a Deutz in a Bobcat but I had one in a combine once. Keep it clean. Check the fins on the cylinders. I thought I kept mine clean but I guess not clean enough. I paid most attention to the radiators and there was some bean dust build up in the cylinder fins. It got hot and broke two cylinders. They are very expensive to work on. I was told that they are a swearing engine. You either swear by them or swear at them.
