Prairie Home MO | Took a load of walnuts to Stockton MO today. Thought you might like to see some pictures. You might notice everything looks new. In 2001 a tornado came through and almost flattened the whole town [about 1200 pop]. This is such a big player to this area that I heard the state of MO gave the Hammons family some grants to help rebuild. I don't see how people survive in that part of the state. Trees and rocks. When they rebuilt they put in the bulk system. Its a lot better than handling all those bags. They still get a large part of the nuts in bags. All parts of the walnut is used. Of course the meat for food. The shell has uses of sand blasting material and also they use it in explosives. I'm sure other uses too. Everything is like grain leg except bigger, heavier, and runs slower.
