Wyoming | I can't say whether these sights will be better for you. All I can tell you is what works for me. I wish we were closer together, because then the way to find out what works for you would be for me to just bring out one rifle after another with different sighting systems, let you sight/use them, and then we discover what works for you.
Me, personally, I prefer a peep, even with a larger aperture, over most all buckhorn or tangent sights out there. Peeps with adjustable bases typically have much better repeatability - ie, when I want to adjust the sight for 500 yards, and then to bring it back to the default adjustment for 200 yards, it is quite repeatable. |
