Good morning Dan - 

I think it will be fine.  We have had several heavy rains since the concrete was put in and it all drains into the sump hole.  Right now we don't have any single phase power there to run the sump pump, we have to use a generator.  Once we get the electric in place, I think it will be fine.

On a side note - I did not realize the difference there is in sump pumps.  We found one that is more of a trash pump that will pump wet grain out with the water.  So hopefully, it will perform as promised.
