Southeast Florida | Having had a lot of red in the shed I wouldn't own any onf the old IH 4 WD's. The 4166 and 86 was just like a ridged frame CASE of that era and it had the 436 engine. The 66 had a red to and the 86 a black top no other difference. The 4386 had the DT 466 at 225 hp, 4586 VT 800 and 4786 VT 800. The 4386 was by far the best of these tractors. I haven't seen a VT 800 running in years and after they were repowered with the Cummins the axles broke soon afterwards. | |
