Yep, 43-45-47-- 66-86 is a whole nother critter than the 4166-86. Steiger built with the Roadranger trans and I believe Steiger drop box,but IH drive axles. Trans and drop box was good in those models. The IH axles were a bit light to pull the full power of that engine if in a situation where one axle had good dry traction,and the other was in mud.
IH 4166 or 4186 tractors?so 4386 decent tractor?
