That's happened to me being a young and dumb truck driver going down a grade. Cummins with a 3 stage, was going slow already, but 1 wasn't enough, 2 was too much.
Then all of sudden everything was quiet.... LOL. Wish I could have had that reaction time when I was drag racing.
Exaust brake, how effective are they?
