Anyone got any suggestions other than dropping $432 at Deere for a new muffler? Outlet flange rotted off mine. Tractor has the corner post exhaust.
Just went through this with a Case/IH 4WD, there is an aftermarket company that sells mufflers, however the dealership said they sell both, and in the larger tractors the aftermarket "one" they sold came back as TOO NOISY! The customer re ordered OEM, More $ so did we. It fit and is quiet. Im sorry to say ours was $700 ish. Hard to get over..
One place to check is tractor supply and see if they list one for your tractor. Our store had to call "their supplier" but could get one special order. |
