then the 460 should control the painting ,don't know how to do the boom sections


The above is correct, usually use the center section. The painting will be all ON or all OFF, no partial section mapping is available with this combination. The purpose of the relay is to keep the two devices electrically separate from a safety standpoint. Any common 12V relay will do. Attach the coil terminals to the 460 center switch and ground. Attach the coverage switch wires to the relay outputs.

That way when the center section is ON, the relay will close and connect the two wires to the 750. The menu on the 750 will need to be changed to SWITCH so that it will be watching for this.
