Used motor oil or used hydrolic fluid. Both seem to be effective and both are "free." We lube before we go out each time as well. Not saying it's right or wrong but think about all the fines and cuttings that are in used motor oil. I went to a seminar once and they ran it through a small screen, it was eye opening. It might make you think twice about putting all that on your chains. |
