Subject: RE: Japanese Mini Truck vs UTV ?

I've had 3 Mini's , I keep trading up
My latest to EXACTLY what the title says a mini TRUCK, AC, PS, PB, radio, Heat, intermittent wipers, 5 Speed, high/low 4x4 , all the street legal lights( don't have to lic here)
68 mph top speed (GPS confirmed)
I've hauled a ton (2000#) of wood pellets several times, a 30' flag pole, and more random stuff than I can think of
I use it instead of my full size truck for anything that I possibly can.

My recommendation is this
IF you are driving primarily on a road of some sort a mini beats a UTV
IF you are primarily driving off road a UTV will beat a mini.
If you're getting in and out 20-30 times a day a UTV maybe easier .
I have never been stuck in mine , pretty amazing what it will go through

I'm 5' 10" 200# have no problem getting in and out.
My son-in-law is 6' 10" he likes driving it, has a bit of trouble folding his stilts getting under the steering wheel, not much of a problem as a passenger.

Parts are not a problem - maybe finding someone in your area to work on one might be, usually a good indication is when they tell you "parts are hard to find".

My "firefighting" set up a 60 gal spray tank in the back
