Owings, Maryland 38.6856 N 76.6752 W | I have a pair of cylinders that have supposedly 9/16-18 UNF ORB ports. OK the 9/16-18 seems like a odd size, to me anyway. UNF, ok so it fine threaded, ORB, so it is a o-ring fitting.
Question is,,,,,, when I am shopping on e-bay for fittings and hoses etc. why am I not able to find anything compatible ? Maybe the 9/16" is really a 1/4" or 3/8" fitting with fine thread ? no. I also noticed that alot of the fitting are marked as #6, #8 and so on. Is 9/16-18 actually a hydraulic fitting size ? almost sounds like a bolt thread.
If you could just shed a little light on the subject it will be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys !!!!!!!
