Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Just a little info, that I was told by a Rental company Foreman that rents their fleet of trucks to beer delivery companies. He mentioned that they buy truck equipped with Rail liftgates (Column Lift) and not cable-style liftgates. He mentioned when the cable style fails, the truck is stuck where it is at and they have to get a small wrecker to lift the broken liftgate up and get if back to the shop. They had much better "service" when buying the more expensive rail liftgate, that use hydraulic cylinders and linkage. Here's a video, of the a rail style liftgate. (note: They didn't show, that with the gate folded, you can just lower the folded gate, to the ground and use a forklift to remove something from the back door, also.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RblYP6Hxos
