What is the timing of application for fungicide on your irrigated corn and what products are you using. Was the 70 bushel increase on the irrigated ground?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

We decided not to use any fungicide on corn last year (we do every AC of soybeans)--- had very little disease showing and with prices questioned if we would break even --- were considering an airplane app at a pretty high price.
Our neighbors applied some -- the pilot got a little confused -- did about 5 acres by mistake on our farm -- it actually was more than 70 bu. increase. Rust comes in very quickly --last year was a learning experience -- getting our Hagie ready-- Much cheaper than plane and more water -- every year is different -- may not pay this year-- and last year CI paid huge.

FWIW -- neighbors helped us on 2 farms last year -- A little drift opened our eyes on another farm

All areas are diff however I do not want to make that mistake this year HERE

Dan

Edit thought I better add bet southern rust will not be a problem in Wisconsin-- but I thought we would never have what we had last year HERE
