S.E. Washington | On old field trailers with single chamber brakes that's what we did also, just dump the air. However, on most road going trailers there are dual chamber air brakes. When there is no air pressure in the reservoir a big spring applies the brakes. A "cage" bolt or air is how you overcome the spring and release them. A gas driven portable compressor works good to move those type trailers around. | |
