Subject: HRW High Pro and HRSW.

We're seeing some of the wider basis places firm.. on the down board yesterday some locations pulled their bids in..

Central Kansas Terminal and Processor Daily Grain Report

TERMINAL HRW WHEAT ORD US NO 1
Bids Change (¢/bu) Basis Change
Atchison 3.7275 DN 8.75 -70N UNCH
Topeka 3.9275 DN 8.75 -50N UNCH
Concordia 3.7775 DN 3.75 -65N UP 5
Salina 3.8275 DN 8.75 -60N UNCH
Great Bend 3.7775 DN 8.75 -65N UNCH

Wellington 3.9775-4.0275 DN 8.75 -45N to -40N UNCH
Arkansas City 3.8775 DN 8.75 -55N UNCH

Right now.. 13's in Wichita are worth almost a Dollar over ordinaries.. at 60 under as shown above to 35 over below..

PROCESSOR HRW WHEAT US NO 1

Bids Change (¢/bu) Basis Change
Wichita-11% 4.1275 DN 8.75 -30N UNCH
Wichita-12% 4.4775 DN 8.75 5N UNCH
Wichita-13% 4.7775 DN 8.75 35N UNCH

I would suspect that those protein levels are gonna mimic HRSW values.. as that's the alternative.. or has been over the past year..  gluten anyone?

TMA's new terminal at Milan is still holding firm at 40 under.. some of our shuttle loaders out here are sticking to 60 with Harvest starting.. we've seen some sampling but moisture levels still too high here.

However, 20 miles away last night they were running.. It appears that we should have another good crop here but acres are way down.. It appeared that they were mowing it off pretty fast.. no lines at the elevators but not much activity yet..

So we'll soon find out.

$1.50+ premium HRSW vs HRW.. that's pretty wide.. one side or the other ought to cave.. the funds remain stubbornly short.. but how long are they going to defend their positions?
